Sorting of Contact Information

When I had my iPhone 3GS, the contacts were sync to iDrive and they were sorted by Last Name. However, since upgrading to the iPhone 4S, I've noticed that my contacts are now sorted by First Name.

Anyone know how I can change the sorting in the car?

Same thing happened to me when I upgraded my 3GS to iOS 5, the software forgot my last name sort preference and reverted to the factory default.

You just need to go into the settings>contacts and change it back to Sort "LASTname, FIRSTname"
