Insane. Like another post said imagine you were inside. Had the door caved in a lot? Hard to tell on pics. And luck that it was parked in the way of your window.

Replacing a car is just a minor headache compared to structural damage/fixing your home in this cold weather. Always look at the bright side. GL with your next car search!

Trust me, the thought has me shivering. To think a Camry destroyed the door like that.
Yes the door caved all the way into the seat. Seat is torn and twisted. Were I in there, I'd have lost a leg, crushed ribs, all together cut in half within the car. Remember the car also hit the sidewalk. So thinking physics, there wasn't much room for the energy of the impact to travel. Were this at an open intersection, it might not have been so bad. Just a theory.

very good point, however it still brings great concern to me.... it was just a camry that did this... a car that is designed to cripple... cant imagine if it was any other vehicle -- holy fuck. Im just glad no one was in there... im going to have nightmares with this in my head. But I would hope that the point about the sidewalk is valid, as maybe if the car was able to slide on its own without being interrupted it may have dealt with the impact better.... we can only hope.

good luck with getting this sorted out.

surprised that Geico is screwing around so much.... I would hope that Liberty Mutual doesnt fuck me over the day I need to call on them. After all, they are the BMW backed insurer. They offer excellent discounts for BMW CCA members as well.... god damn it pays for my lifetime membership at least ten times over in the amount of savings i get from it.

Good luck with your search... let us know how this all works out for you.

Glad to hear it's totaled, I would take prices of cars around you in similar condition from autotrader, cars.com, etc with similar mileage and options and use that to your advantage.

Sadly, I rather get a 328i manual sport coupe than deal with the potential headache of HPFP/turbo issues of the 335.(Unless it's an awesome deal) I'll be taking a hit on power from the 330 but gain in style.
If not, I'll just find another 330i and be happy with that.

depending on when this was that actually doesn't sound bad.
I also sent them receipts of all additions I put in the last year. I didn't get nearly enough, but I got something added for them. (Rims, M3 suspension mods, Performance kit, SP lowering perches)
