Jerry sent me a map to follow when I adjust map 6! I'll do some logs tomorrow after install is complete. I'm extremely excited! It will peak at 15.5 psi, taper down to 14psi at 6500rpm then 12psi at 7K rpm.. If all goes well and I have no timing drops she will be very quick.. My logs for map 2 were some of the cleanest he's ever seen, so I'm giving this map a shot! I'll record some 100 - 200 pulls after all is said and done as well... I'm curious to see what time I get. I'm hoping to have one of the quickest 335i W/O meth.

If I decide to get a meth kit in a month or two I'll install that myself as well.

You should just push it to 25 psi right now. And then update us on how it feels...

And I'll prepare to 'like' it

Install was flawless! BOV sounds really good. However, when increasing boost higher then map2 I have a boost leak.. I'll have to tear into things this week to try and find it... Everything was tight from the CP install so I'm not sure what it could be. Either A. the BOV I was given was defective... or the FMIC which was installed by the mechanic wasn't done right.. Not sure what else could cause it.

Hopefully I'll get it all sorted out.

Charge pipe and BOV = Much easier then JB4! Then again wires scare the hell out of me.

You either have a boost leak or you don't. I doubt it will materialize magically at higher maps. You're pushing plenty boost to leak at lower maps

It's either a minor boost leak, possibly the stock vacuume housing, or the map senor O'ring.. Or the tune is just under targeting due to my elevation in Calgary.

Where are all of the stock vaccume lines in the car? I want to go through and check them.

No boost leaks.. Just due to the 18OHM in JB4, the boost/duty cycle kicks in anytime she tries to boost above 12.5PSI after 6K rpm.. This means even if I CRANK the boost I won't see much more performance then what map 2 has to offer on 94 octane pump gas.

Map 2 is my best bet, and it was super clean and pulls 100 - 200 in 9 - 9.5 seconds!
I'll need meth if I want to push my snails any harder period.

Ran map 6 again tonight. Boost held strong! No timing drops, good intake temps, it was a perfect log!

I raise to 15.5PSI for 5K rpm and 5,500 rpm then taper to 14.5PSI at 6K rpm then 14 at 6500 rpm. And I don't need meth

Hey E90Vader, Just signed up and wanted to say that people on here IMO, are quite stupid. I have no reason why they are hating, and at plenty of risk of being hated my self I have to say this, and on my first post none the less. Oh well.

I think your mods are tasteful, done in good moderation, and i love the route you took. I my self am looking to buy a 335is, and am going to take the same path.
Black it out, put it on coil overs, BOV all the way, up down pipes, and straight pipe. Thats my dream car and im glad your doing it.

Also i almost shit my self when i saw your alberta license on a different post, Im from edmonton. Just thought it was neat. Anyways, ive hated enough. Nice car.

I was so sure that Vader was banned. Then I saw this post and I thought, "oh no...he's back." Thankfully it was a false alarm and someone bumped this ancient post.
