To anyone who's purchased the new BMW perf susp: Was a written parts list included w/the kit? If so, would you scan and attach pls?
GaryS has posted a scanned parts list for the E8X; just looking for one for the E9X

FWIW,

I haven't purchased it but have the link bookmarked for a rainy day

No part numbers but a detailed list nonetheless. The 'parts we add' tab lists the springs

Yeah, I've seen that, but I'm looking for part numbers, specifically the 'additional shock absorbers'.

I don't have part numbers but 'additional shock absorber' is what everyone refers to as 'bump stops'. RealOEM has different p/n's for sport vs non-sport but I don't know if PS bump stops are different from sport. Tischer should know.

Thank you. I'll look those up when I get a chance. Hopefully, 2 of those will be the F/R bumpstops. Did you get a chance to compare your oe bumpstops with the new ones that came with the PS?

For the rear listed are...I don't remember which are the bump stops but i think it's one of the latter two.
6788890 shock absorber rear
6788905 shock absorber rear
6789540 shock absorber rear

If I get a chance I'll scan this weekend.

No, I was not there during the installation and I had a friend collect the oe parts from the dealer later on. I never saw the parts.

Mine is the new kit, I ordered and had it installed in August this year.
Different part numbers could also be due to different car configurations ; M Sport vs Sport etc, not quite sure.

I think you are right as you are a 2011 and I'm 2007.

My understanding is that the new vs. old only applies to the e90 and not e92. I got mine from Tischer and installed it in June this year.

Thank you 3 different rear shock absorber p/n's? No mention of front bumpstops-'additional shock absorber'? Did the kit did come with front bumpstops? Were the rear bumpstops attached to the dust tubes?

It did come with bump stops...I don't recall if the rears were attached to the tubes when they arrived. Sorry. I also didn't compare the size of the stops before we installed them so I can't say if there was a significant size difference.

Yeah the list is not as easy to interpret as one might think. I think the 890 is the rear shock itself. Now that I think about it maybe the front bump stops were miss marked as rears? 8905 and 9540 are labeled as zusatzdampfer on the side with the German language.

Why not just use the Z4 bump stops that Dinian uses for their kit? I know there is a thread with the part # in it as I posted the rear part #. I bought them from Tischer as I was going to go with Eibach and Koni Sport before I changed my mind.

Those are the bumpstops and the p/n's I'm looking for, thx.
BMW engineers bumpstops specifically for different springs and chassis; they're definately engineered to be secondary springs and that's why I'd want to match them up. Tischer sells the front bumpstops seperately but can't get the rears. I'll see what I can do, thx again
Some folks describe the ride w/Dinan susp as choppy on the street. The bumpstops they use could be a contibuting factor?

Good luck hopefully you can get a hold of them.
Make's on wonder what would happen if I needed replacements after already buying the kit?

I didn't see a p/n on your list ending in 8909 as you mentioned above. Did you mean 8890 or 8905 for the other zusatzdampfer?

Complete p/n's for E9X PS bumpstops:
31336789540=front
33536788905=rear
The rear bumpstops are available seperate from the PS kit; the fronts are not.

Update

The sqeaky wheel gets greased..
Dan@UnitedBMW wrote BMWNA about obtaining the front E9X PS bumpstops seperate from the PS kit, so now they're available The rear PS bumpstops are already available seperate from the kit.
So, new PS springs and bumpstops are coming my way

btw, Dan really went out of his way for me Tischer and my local BMW dealer were unwilling to make the effort. Dan gets my business.. He's a sponsored vendor on 1addicts
