Question Looking for Exterior Trim wrap in Philly/SJ

Hey guys,

It seems like most of the sick exterior shops are up in North Jersey/NY. Anyone know of any competent shops in the south jersey/philly area that will wrap the exterior trim? I want to do gloss black; plus, I would like the entire trim wrapped as opposed to that one group buy I read about where the shop didn't quite wrap it fully to avoid peeling or something.

Thanks everyone!

-Jon

Thanks for the replies guys! I'm not too comfortable taking the trim off myself; heard some people say it's easy but other say it's a nightmare and bends like hell.

And I'll have to check out checkers what kind of shop are they? I asked Alex already he said he doesn't do JUST window trim lol

Detailing/customization shop... Give them a call, I thought they wrapped a GTR, but i think 66mvp in neptune nj did it... They would probably know where to get your trim wrapped locally though.

Helix Motorsports in Manayunk is your best bet. I've had work done there, Eric and Alex are great guys, you'll be happy.

My original plan was helix but when I asked Alex he said they do roofs or the whole car. I think he said it's not cost effective for them to warp only exterior trim pieces. But I'll look into the others that you mentioned. I might have found a local guy to do it so I'll update you guys on how everything goes.

eh theres more room than that on the trim. you can run it in between where the trim and body meet which is a deep pocket. No real risk of scratching paint there.

THanks to everyone for the recommendations. Unfortunately exterior trim is a real pain in the butt to do in one piece and the amount of vinyl thats wasted in the process makes the whole thing not very cost effective. Roofs, Hoods, whole cars is a different story.

just trying to help you buddy. I actually wrapped my exterior trim myself and it came out fine and I didn't scratch my car. no reason to pay anyone to do it. you're welcome, btw.

I saw Steve's white 335i the other day. It really changed the look of the car - looked awesome!

Gotta get 12" wide rolls to do it.....less waste.

Btw, I feel horrible that I haven't been on top of that project. I was swamped last semester with work. I'm off now and working on it.
