Spacers e92 335xi
I posted this a bit ago in the xi section and didn't receive worthwhile responses. I have an e92 xi, and want to do spacers and a drop at the same time. The front doesn't appear to need spacers, but the back wheels are tucked in horribly. I'm thinking either a 10 or a 15mm spacer per back wheel should bring them out enough to not be an eye sore anymore. Would this cause any problems with the x-drive or anything else, to put in the aforementioned spacers in the back and not in the front?

im wanting to do the same thing and i have the sedan. with the xi if u just do rear spacers, it will throw off the balance and handling to have more understeer. for best performance u will want to use the same size spacers on the front.

I don't think you'll have any problems since you're not changing the overall diameter of your wheels and tires, you're just changing the effective offset of them.
As for the handling characteristics though, you may notice a slight difference. For everyday driving though you will be fine.
