Is transmission conditioners safe?
I was thinking about putting in some lucas transmission conditioner in my next transmission fluid change, anyone have experience with this product or any similar product? Would it hurt anything i have a feeling my seals are going bad as my fluid is at the proper level but i encounter some slippage from 3-4 when the car is cold. When it warms up its gone.

I am not a believer in conditioners- especially for transmission fluid. If you are using OEM-specified fluid- eg lifeguard6 for ZF tranny- then there really isn't any need for any conditioners. How many miles on your 335i and has the tranny fluid ever been replaced? If tranny fluid has never been replaced and miles are approaching 100K, then fluid and filter/pan replacement might be better alternatives.

I used mercon after i discovered a Leak on my sealing sleeve. Thing is that even after changing fluid my filter seemed to be clogged. And the fluid did not seem to be circulating, so i changed out the pan filter also and all seemed well for about a year and 10k miles until recently. My 1-2 shift is pretty jerky and my 3-4 shift seems to slip when cold. Is it possible for the other sealing coupler? Above the mechatronic might be causing this or possibly damaged my transmission pump? I know the fluid level is fine because i checked it twice already at the right temp with a steady flow coming out. Sorry for the wall of text o n my phone. My last resort is to drop the tranny and install one from a junkyard then get it programmed.

Re-check the mechatronic sleeve installation- the gap must be less than 3 mm. Pins may not be making a good contact or are damaged. See the enclosed from ctsc- especially the last slide.

I have a feeling you installed it incorrectly. Rule of thumb: look at the last thing you touched and there lies the problem. In this case, it is the sleeve.

If no codes are being thrown use Chevron Techron fuel injector cleaner (concentrate). It solves rpm fluctuating upon cold start-up. Also, for most BMW problems start off by scanning your car with the Peake Research Tool. It contains the actual BMW codes. If you want to register a newly installed battery for free (just buy a $10 cable) and google/download BMWLogger
