I've recently acquired a 2007 320i sedan in replacement for my aging E46 - manual thankfully although the ZF auto boxes are rather remarkable.

My car has wood-like trim. I like silver to match my body colour but I'd like a black gear selector surround a la E46 and not the silver look a la Mazda6.

Anyone know if the trim around the gear selector can come in black plastic?

trim around the gear selector is black plastic on all e90 interior trim types - aluminum, glacier silver, wood, etc

essentially all the wood bits that you have now will become silver / aluminum on change over, the black plastic surround around the auto gear selector will remain the same
