Santa Cruz Tour & Wine Tasting
Anyone from the Golden-gate chapter going to this? It's going to be my first NoCal event so I can't wait.
I live about 60 miles from the meeting point and we're supposed to be there at 8:30 so waking up in the morning will be a bit brutal...

official CCA drinking and driving event nice!
santa cruz is beautiful, but I"m not sure why they'd have people meet there, the wineries are all in napa, livermore, monterey for the most part |

actually, there are some wineries in Santa Cruz, albeit not as famous as the ones up in Napa Valley.
They have very nice beaches though...

well, i think the main point of the event is driving through santa cruz mountains and then go for wine tasting and have lunch/dinner in an italian restaurant.
the winery is called burrell. i've never heard of it but i don't really care, i'm not wine expert so i'm sure it will all taste great to me.

oops, sorry, i just got back so i guess it's too late. it was freaking awesome. though they said they'd drive down slow, it felt like we were racing through the twisties of the santa cruz mountains. then nice wine tasting and fine food at the burrell school winery.
i was driving behind a couple of M3s, one of which was a pimped up E46 M3 vert with some very tasty mods. i'll post some pics later on...
