2008 Non-Mtec Fog Bulb Size

Hey Guys,

I've seen a bunch of different answers on this...can someone tell me if it's H8 or H11 on a 2008 335xi? I ordered a set of HID fogs from Alpine and they sent me H8....I thought it was H11 though...

SIDENOTE: I just installed the fogs and they fit and worked even though the bulb on the HID kit said H8...anyone know if this will be an issue? No errors or anything...

looks like you can use either - the only discernible difference (given the same wattage) between any of the H's are the housing size/depth and male/female compatibility.

Sooo as long as the glove fits...

you can use H8 and H11 for fog lights only, the base is almost 100% identical
