Diff fluid fill plug is on a downward angle

I'd like to change my differential fluid, but noticed that the fill plug is on a downward angle.

Is there anything to be concerned with here, with actually getting fluid to its proper level? Should I order anything special before doing this, like a new fill plug?

Advice wanted from those who have changed their diff fluid before

Nothing to worry about. Once you've pulled the oil fluid out, refill the diff till the new oil is slightly running out of the hole. Of course this assumes the car is level at the time of refilling.

get a transfer pump and/or a screw on tube to squeeze the new fluid from the bottle into the diff

Many thanks Changed it this weekend with Amsoil Severe Gear.. might just be my imagination, but the car feels more responsive after changing the diff fluid.
