325i Lease Help
Could some of you lease expert types give me a hand?
I am down in Palm Springs and I need to get a short term (24) month lease on a 325. I called around and found a few cars with the option packs I want (Xenon and Sports). I've got $2k to put down + driveoff and I can take delivery in Oregon where there is no sales tax. My timeframe is around Tuesday, so I really don't have time to go figure out the intricacies of leasing. I was hoping you guys could tell me what you leased your 325s for or if you have one of those lease finance packages, you could run some numbers... Thanks! |

The 24 month lease deal right now is pretty good. It is at least AS good and probably much better than anyone here got in the past.
Just remember the lease deal is on MSRP of a car with auto as the only option. Negotiate on the final price of the vehicle. I was lucky, I got a 325i with sport, xenon, and cold weather package (which I HIGHLY recommend, esp for Oregon; GET the heated seats are you crazy?!?) for $1000 over invoice. They said they couldn't sell the car without power seats. With my trade-in (I don't remember exactly what I got $2k?) and b/f taxes my lease is like $378/month (12kmiles/36 month). Good luck! |

![]() j/k. assuming no metallic paint, looks like MSRP / Invoice is $33,995 / $31,180 including destination. A good price on the car would be $1k over, or $32,180. Current base MF and residual on a 325i 2 yr, 12k/yr lease is 74%/0.0025. Assuming all that, and $0 down, you're at about $440/month. That's a good target to shoot for. oh- and this should probably be in the New Car forum EDIT: typo - wrote $340 instead of $440.

One more thing. That assumes you pay your acquisition fee ($625) up front. If you roll it into your lease, your monthly payment will be about $460.

I also cannot park a vehicle to save my life... Having said all of that, your help has been valuable. I wanted to know what rates others were getting to see if I was getting screwed or not. Tomorrow, I'm pulling the trigger on a 325i, black/black, aluminum, sports, xenons and I'm getting it for $800 over invoice, $2k down, $400 per month for 36 months and 15k miles per year. Since the new contract is paying for it, that seems like a good enough deal to me! Thanks guys! |
