PLS HELP!! Problems will LED Kit......

I've been a long time member (if 5 yrs is considered long) and have run in to an issue that I hope someone could help me with....

I bought 10 lights wide angle interior LED pkg from iJDM toy and just got these installed today. All LEDs inside and out work fine BUT when I start the car but the ones above the rear view mirror and center intermittently work. i.e., at start, these all turn on as OEM would but during driving , following lights stop working: 1) front and middle interior dome lights 2) 2+2 Reading lights front and back. Note that, all of these are LEDs now.

The guy who installed these charged me a lot (~$100) but his disclaimer would be that he works on OEM parts only and I supplied these LEDs. Before I approach him tomorrow, any ideas what might be going wrong will be much appreciated...

Here's the link to the LEDs kit that got installed, including license plate.

Again, would very much appreciate if someone could share feedback or thoughts on this issue. Many thanks.... !

Dang, you got ripped off, no offense.

If you bought an LED interior light kit from Highperformancebulbs or modmy3, you would not be having this problem right now. The LED lights go out either due to low quality bulbs that die, or more likely that they are the wrong voltage. As a result, the bulbs won't work after some time. Not to mention both the kits I mentioned come with easy instructions on how to install it. I installed mine in approximately 45 mins with crappy tools and 0 experience.

Your new LEDs are not canbus proof. Your car computer thinks the bulbs aren't working because they are drawing a lot less power than normal halogen bulbs and shuts down the circuit to those bulbs. You need LEDs that are canbus compatible so either wire a resistor (which I don't recommend) or buy new LEDs with built in error eliminating resistors.

Yeah, go with the highperformancebulbs.com kit, no errors, no problems, and it's super bright.

Man. You got bent over bad.
I would ask for your $100 back to install light bulbs.

Bingo, the LEDs need to have the proper resistors in them for the car to be happy. It took a good bit of testing for Ziza (kit found HERE) to get their LED kit perfect due to the cars computers looking for the bulbs.
