Wheel Fitment: VB3s 18 x 8.5 et 40 on E90 LCI
Hi There,
Im new to the forums as I just picked up an E90 LCI xdrive and was wondering if the wheels i had on my E46xi will fit without issue. They are VMR's VB3 and the specs are as follows: 18 x 8.5 et 40 Im not too concerned with how flush it will look at the moment, just wondering if spacers would be needed or there is enough room on the inside to not hit the shock/springs. If in fact these fit without issue, what would be a good square tire size to go with it? Also, can BMW TPMS be used with these? Or is it okay to run without? Thanks in advance, William

18x8.5 ET40 should work just fine all around on your E90 LCI. We'd recommend a 235/40/18 tire for these, and you can definitely use your OEM TPMS.

The VMR VB3 CSL wheels in the 18x8.5 ET40 with a 235/40/18 in the rear will fit perfectly on your new E90 LCI and you can swap out your TPMS from your current setup to save a bit of cash as well!

Nice, just what i wanted to hear! I was afraid the 12mm less clearance on the inside would rub. Im going to pick up BMW TPMS and have two sets, winter / summer. Got the style 284s for winter.
Would going to 255s be a bad idea? Now to find a RFT in that size.
