265/30 19 vs 255/30 19 on stock 230 19x9 rims

I have an '08 E92 sport with stock 230 19x9 rims on the rear. I am replacing the stock 'stones with non-RFT PS2s. They no longer make the stock size, which is 255/30 19, but they do make 265/30 19s. Gary at TireRack advises me they will fit fine on the rims.

So my question is: will I have any interference/rubbing problem with the larger tire with this car/wheel setup? Has anyone done this with no problem?

the car shouldnt rub at all, you will have a slightly wider/taller tire in the rear so expect a little more rake

I have 265/30/19 Conti DWS on my rear 230's and don't have any issues at all. You shouldn't either.

265/30/19 would not be a problem on those wheels.

Hi guys, is this true for E90"s too with no rubbing issues? I was considering 265"s too which are 265/30 19 on my 230 style wheels which have put on a E90 320i, so wanted to know if they would go fine,
Thanks

Hmm...Is there any benefit of getting the 265/30 19 vs the stock 255/30 19....if both sizes are available, which would be best? (I've got the same wheels)

More sidewall to protect wheels and slightly better traction being a little wider
