Advanced mac/bootcamp question

Is it possible to install windows 7 through bootcamp on an external drive. I have an eSATA card in my mac pro and will connect with that so the speed isn't an issue. I did some research couldn't find any answers

If you already have the drive why not try it?
As long as the EFI recognizes the external drive I don't see why it wouldn't work.

tried it with FW800 and parallels and it works perfectly. Boot camp is a hassle lol
