Gold Card ftw.. You just have to be more cautious about your speeding.. Know the speed traps.. And just keep a vigilant eye out for them.. Even with my gold card.. I am very cautious of my speeding.. It's okay to drive faster than the speed limit.. Just try not to be THAT guy thats going faster than everyone else.. Cops target us bc we get a bad rep for being 'entitled'.. Most of us on here aren't like that.. We just share a passion for German Engineering and enjoy the thrill of driving.. We can't change the perception.. So we have to accept it.. And just enjoy our vehicles without sticking out like a lunatic ricer weaving in and out of traffic

I have to agree. The reason we all bought BMW is to appear luxurious. At the end of the day, all cars get you where you need to be (point A to point B). We choose to pay extra for the luxury and sportiness of the BMW brand. Unfortunately, with that, comes the stigma of being a douchebag on daddy's dime.

I have to admit, before I had my e90, I felt the same way about any BMW driver who cut me off.

Few months back I was in my white lancer tinted glasses..some vinyl front n chrome wheels... A cop dint notice my aunt's car behind us jumping a red light because he ws focused on my car...

Cops seem to target us BMW drivers. I recently got pulled over while obeying all traffic rules; cop asks for license, reg & ins. Then asks me if it's my car, did I buy it new; I respond you have all matching item so what's the issue. He puts the meter on my window just to give a ticket for 35%
tints. Wtf one ticket for each window another cop pulls up to ask what kind of rims are on my car while the first pig is giving me the tickets. WTF I feel this is a case of DWB driving while black. Four other cars pass by with tints darker than mine this is at 8:00 pm in Brooklyn. Black man driving a white Tastefully modded 335i M-Tech. I say to the cop thanks my fines will pay into your pension!

OP, I have to agree with those who said this....our cars definitely are not sports cars. Luxury-sporty is more like it and yes I would even hesitate calling an M a sports car also.

OP: What is your ethnicity? I know that is gay to ask, but lets face it....cops are racist and they profile. DWB is common where I live and lots of my black friends have experienced that. Its known that they do that we are not going to even begin to argue that point. Also, how do act when you get pulled over? If you are rude they are going to fuck you. Just from your comments about cops (which I agree with) I can tell you have something against them, as do most of us hard working people do. Cops pick that non-verbal communication up most of the time so be aware.

Recently it seems also that there has been a rash of fatal car accidents involving dumbass BMW drivers, so maybe that has something to do with the recent harassment? I dont know.....good luck man
