NJ Tire Mounting
I cant find anyone to mount/balance tires on my new 19" rims! I ordered tires from tirerack. I checked with a tirerack recommended local installer and they said they could handle the job. So I had them shipped direclty to the shop and dropped off the rims last night.
The shop just called to tell me they are afraid to mess with a 19inch wheel. What a PITA. Of course I am glad that they stopped before damaging the wheel. But no one else in the area will attempt to mess with it. NOw I gotta go back and haul all the wheels and tires back to my garage until I get them done. I called JMK BMW and they said they could do it for me but they are booked straight for the week. Anyone know another place local to the Short Hills/Summit area? thanks |

there is paddock performance on rt 9w in haverstraw.... they have a good machince that uses the nylon straps or whatever to mount the tires... thats where my friend took his wheels to get the tires mounted for his porsche... his wheels were 19x11.5r and 19x8.5f ... they did it no problem but they cost a little more

70 bucks for all 4 if u go across the bridge to washington heights. I got mine done there because noone else would do them with a 40 sidewall on a 17. I can tel you how to get there and its very fast and like i said $70.

New Vernon Coach & Motor is excellent! I have all my work done there.
I used to recommend Eurotire until my bro in law had some coilovers installed on his Maxima, I don't know what they did but his wheel fell off the car while going around an offramp. |
