Alarm "ON" when engine running?

hello!

Since it is possible to start the engine without key (first start with the key in the slot, second - key away only "start" button) is the alarm system is activated or not if you close the car with the key from outside?

I don't think so. I normally use the metal key in my door to lock the door when the engine is running.

When the alarm is activated, you normally hear a beep. I don't get that when I lock the car with the engine running.
