Has any of you painted your fast lane transponder? The white really looks bad. Also where have you put it?

I painted mine black but masked the front with the FastLane info on it. It sits where most people put theirs, to the passengers side of the mirror, up and out of my sight. People don't even realize it's there from the outside until I tell them what to look for. Its a very clean look.

Having said that, my dad painted his and he needed to send it in because it was malfunctioning. They sent it back because he painted it. He painted it white and they took it. LOL.

I did almost the exact same thing as Andy except I carefully peeled the sticker off and placed it back on after paint. Also replaced the white velcro with black velcro. No issues with reception and totally stealth.

Thanks for the replies. Can I use just any paint for plastics or did you use a specific kind? I got black Velcro to use too. What fastlane info did you mask? On mine there is just a fastlance sticker on the back and thats pretty much it. So I might just mask that
