touchless car wash near essex county NJ?

I need to find a decent touchless car wash near me. Any suggestions?

Also, I just recently had my front plate removed, and there is still an outline of where the plate was. How would I be able to remove this?

Polish/compound should take that plate outline out but you may need to wetsand before hand. Depends on the damage.

As for car washes, I wash myself so can't help you there.

I usually wash my car too, but the water lines in my house are shut down to avoid freezing. You think I should do touchless or should I just get a no-rinse wash solution and do it myself?

Also, would a person with very little experience in detailing or body work like myself be able to do license plate outline repair? If so, any recommended products?

LOL

I can't help you with the car wash up there in Essex but no rinse solution aren't bad. Just sit in the garage with a heater/portable heater on, use the ONR (Optimum NO Rinse) solution with some nice warm water and you're good to go. It's works pretty good but I still prefer a good wash.

As for the license plates, try using the ScratchX from the store. You should be able to remove the outline. This will take some time. If the license plate has been on for a long time, you most likely need to use a buffer for better results. It's not hard by any means, you can still use the scratchX as a polishing compound but if you don't have a buffer that may be an issue.
