Looking for LED plate bulbs - something close to LCI OEM....
In terms of brightness and color, I'm looking for a LED license plate bulb that is pretty close to OEM LCI bulbs. Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks.

I got mine from highperformancebulbs.com. They are the 12.99 ones. I also wanted the stock look until I saw how bright and crisp the light was . If you would like pm me and I can text you a pic.

I would get these
http://www.highperformancebulbs.com/bmwe90ande92.html rather than the ModMy3 bulbs. However, they are certainly expensive. My buddy has them on his 05' 545i (his car has become an unofficial test-bed of sorts), and they're super bright. Great color, and they fade too. I've found that module upgrades disperse heat more efficiently than just bulb upgrades Like the other guy recommended, HPB's bulb upgrade http://www.highperformancebulbs.com/2020bmw3seli.html is cheaper and unlike the MM3 bulb, it has a large heatsink on it to help relieve the heat. And believe me, they do heat up, especially if they are "canbus" bulbs with resistors built in to the circuit board (which these are). I got a pretty bad burn (for a tiny LED) on the back of my hand from a cheap canbus bulb that was left on too long (my fault, but if it's a license plate bulb, it's going to be on for long stretches of time). |

If your looking for the modules we have a special promotion for the license plate modules from HPB which are the brightest. Or you can go with one a little less intrusive as someone else mentioned which is an LED panel replacement
