OP - you drive a 330i, correct? You could upgrade to the 335 oem front caliper/rotors which are bigger. As for looks gloss black with performance rotors (like the m3) looks clean.

+1. If you track the car or drive it hard on twisty roads then big brakes are a good idea. If not, then there really is no point. I like the linear and progressive feel of the stock brakes. Agreed. Even then some BBK's arent needed. On a heavy car sure. Its natural for brake fade! But hell on my E36 M3 race car, which is no low budget race car. Still has the stock oem calipers just rebuilt with a soild carrier. Slotted Euro Rotors, PF01 Race pads, Dot 5 fluid and SS lines. Dont get me wrong, BBK will reduce and disapate heat very quickly. But honestly I had to sometimes tape up my brake ducts because they were cooling my brakes too quickly lol.

Any vendors on here have access to the kit above? That is exactly what I need. No fake covers, but a bigger caliper compatible with my OE rotor size. Open to other brands as well.

A major part of actually designing a larger brake system is to add substantial heat capacity to the OE rotor design. Staying with the OE rotor defeats the purpose and forces compromises in caliper design to accommodate that rotor. Plus, you get stuck with a less than ideal pad geometry.

This why you don't see Alcon, AP Racing, Brembo, Performance Friction and others bother with this option for hardly any vehicles -- just those few that have much better than average rotors with enough mass and thermal rejection rates.
