Coding cable for 07/2005 E90 325i Sedan N52 USA
Hi all,
I've been doing a lot of research on coding my own vehicle (for Xenon retrofit). I think I downloaded all of the necessary software, I was just hoping someone could confirm for me which type of USB to OBD cable I should purchase? DCAN/KCAN that has me all confused... Guidance from someone with an early model e90 would be great. I don't want to order the wrong cable. Thanks.

Do I HAVE to purchase the serial -> ODB2 cable, then a serial -> USB adapter? or is there a 1-piece solution, the posts I've been reading are contradicting and some are older than others. I want to make sure I have the latest info. Thanks!

It strictly says:
- E90, E91, E92, E93 after 3/2007 my build date is 07/2005. Will it still work??
