Hi Guys,

Have recently acquired (2nd hand) my first BMW (2008 e90 320d without idrive), it has an AUX in USB port in the armrest alongside a BMW professional radio. I have plugged my iPod in to the usb port and the radio does recognise it, however if I press the Album button to scroll through the albums it takes forever to get through, it takes like 2 seconds to load the next one on the list. The same is true of scrolling through artists etc. What could be causing this?

Currently I am just using the standard ipod usb cable to connect to the car, what are the odds that buying the Y cable will resolve any of these issues?
