Why do we join the vacuum lines together with PROcede
As you know, during the PROcede install the 2 vacuum leads are unplugged and joined together. Why is this?
The reason I ask is because I have tucked (hidden) the join up under the plastic engine surround. This has resulted in a slight kink in the line. Will this matter?? Cheers. |

A slight bend or curve is okay, but a kink is not okay. Try to adjust the hoses accordingly.
I believe the hoses are disconnected from the rear turbo solenoid to act as a bypass? |

I'm surprised BMW went with rubber for their vacuum lines instead of the more heat-tolerant, and longer lasting silicone. May turn out to be a worthwhile upgrade for the future.

I am guessing in the future somebody will come out with a silicon hose upgrade kit like for Audi Biturbo S4 and other turbo vehciles. Worthwhile upgrade and reasonably priced for the entire set typically.
