texas isn't too bad. Be careful in orange texas. Its very "southern." Also, Louisiana doesn't mess around. Almost all of their police force uses lasers.

Hey LT I say yes bring your V1 but FYI Texas DPS Troopers seldom forgiving and pretty good at ambushing. Especially when you crest a hill or bridge they'll have radar off and click on when you on top of them. I say take your time and drive slow oh and dress warm. Cold front hit TX pretty chilly at night time. Wish I could drive down to HTown to meet you but cars and work keeping me busy. Have fun on your trip down here and I'm confident the Houston gang has got your back shall you need anything.

Can you turn off my DRL on the e46m3 while you are here, sir?

I'd take you out to a Viet restaurant for some hot pot?

Hey man let me know times you looking to come down this way. You have to pass through baton rouge, and I think a couple of us are going to make the trip to NOLA. As for speed traps...
once you get into Louisiana slow down a little through Lake Charles, and you are pretty much good until you get to Lafayette. Don't punch it through there, there is a long bridge that have maybe 2 exits, since you are not familiar with that bridge I would say don't speed there they like to catch people there. They like to wait to catch people getting on and off that bridge. Between lafayette and Baton rouge there are a lot of trees that have medians where cops like to park so be carefull there. And right before you cross the Mississippi river bridge there are normlly cops there.

I've just moved to Houston about a month ago and would love to meetup and see some folks cars.

I will probably go to that blast from the past event, but if anyone wants to meetup anything this afternoon/evening - weekend. Let me know. I live in Midtown.
