Eimports4less? Anyone Familiar?

Dealership is located in PA and seem to do a lot of online/Ebay business. Extensive inventory of BMW's at reasonable prices....

Anyone with any past dealings with the company?

While I do not have direct experience with them, they supposedly have a very good reputation in the area. I live not far from them and always oogle their inventory whenever I drive by. Also periodically check the website for grins and giggles.

I have heard from my neighbor across the street that the guys who own are on the up-and-up.

YMMV

From what I've gathered they do seem to be someone that is generally good to do business with. I exchanged e-mails with the dealership and they apparently get many of their cars from BMW leasing and finance.

I asked for a quote to have the car shipped to NH...about a 6 hr drive and was surprised to get a cost of $500. - seems quite reasonable.

Thanks for the response!

Hi MaxDriver,

I purchased an Audi A6 from Eimports4less about 5 years ago. I got a screaming deal, low mileage, and I had it shipped to me sight unseen. When I got the car, it was scratched up all over the hood, sides, trunk. Very light scratches that did not show up in the pictures. Its almost like someone washed it by hand with rock or two lodged in the wash towel. There was also rust line / water line on the wheels which made me think it sat in water for a while.

The engine ran fine, but there was not full disclosure on the actual cosmetic condition of the car. If I was to do it over again, I would have flown in or had an outside inspector check the car out. Other than the cosmetic issues, I got a great deal and I was happy. My recommendation is spend an extra $ for an inspection or go see it your self.

Cheers!

Did you contact the dealership after you received the car and if so what was their response? Thanks!

I did talk to them about not disclosing all the scratches and general cosmetics of the A6. Nothing was done and I gave up the fight. I got a screaming deal for good reason. Overall, I was very satisfied. Just do your homework on the particular car you want to buy.

Good luck, let us know how it turns out if you go that direction.

rule #1- do not buy a used car without inspecting it yourself.

i learned that the hard way, even though i ended up getting a great deal on the truck.

I prefer to buy used via a private sale and have always test driven them first. If it seems to good to be true...it's probably not!

If it seems too good to be true...it's probably not true. Meaning in this instance that I don't blindly purchase a vehicle without checking it out....which I believe is what you recommended earlier....
