Vred Sessanta Tyre Wear

Hi guys, I'm thinking of going for the Vreds Sessanta tyres for my next change but was just wondering what the tyre life is like, my driving is mainly A roads and dual carraigway with some town work aswell, Ive seen some reports on expected mileage that was mainly motorway miles but cant find any results for the type of roads I frequent, thanks

I put a set of Vreds on 20k miles ago and have only just replace the rears, the fronts still have 4-5mm.

Granted I do a fair bit of motorway miles, but I don't think that's too bad for an M

20k for a set of rears on an M is fucking impressive! Especially given how good the Vreds' grip is supposed to be

I had Sessanta's on an M5, rears lasted approx 15K, fronts double that! They grip well and were great in the wet, perhaps a little noisier than average but much better than Falkens that were on it when I first got it.

That's interesting - maybe I'll give the Vreds a try next time then.

I've just bought a set.....very good value....£550 for a full set....Grip in the dry, so far is as good as the potenzas....

Very smooth and feels more planted on sudden acceleration, steering is lighter and more sensitive, suits the UK roads much better than the shitty bridgestones, more control and secure feeling (you can actually "feel" when the tyres are losing traction etc). Wish the suspension was firmer!!! BMW fucked up big time with their runflat bullsh1t....car should be on normal tyres from factory and with a firmer suspension!!!....

Love the speed bumps and uneven surfaces now!....no more crashy ride or boom boom noise from the tyres!!!...
