New dci's from cp-e

Saw this on the other forum, same as usual dcis but theyre pretty nice to look at under the hood.

They also have the correct size diameter, unlike the original bms dci!
Someone give them a try, I will once the winter is over.

All looks, no gains over any other DCI options.

Yeah of course, but for a few extra dollars they look much nicer imo.
Also have the correct size pipping.

This has been discussed a lot. Basically its smaller than the original bmw pipping so it sort of crushes the original tubing.

I've never had this problem.

Yeah, BMS DCI does NOT crush the piping when you tighten it down.....

The difference is a few mm....

1mm to be exact.
I don't see how 1mm would cause "crushing".

The CP-E DCI is not new by any means.... It has been out for years. http://www.cp-e.com/products/bmw-135...-intake-system

BMS just recently started selling them. I tried these out before I made my Mr.5 intake, and they looked great under the hood. The pipes did indeed fit very tight into the stock plastic acordian piping. As usual with cp-e, the quality was top notch.

Other than that, its a DCI with quality filter media. Same as the others (speculation, unless someone wants to do some flow bench tests between the different filter media out there), it just looks a hell of a lot better with the whiteish-gray filters.

Im gonna switch over to these once my BMS DCI get dirty again just because i like the CP-E logo on the filters themselves and the piping fits better!
