Kw street comfort coilovers. How low can they be adjusted? Anybody got pics?
Hi. I am considering buying "kw street comfort" coilovers for my 2009 325d e90. I am looking for as much comfort as possible (yes, I am getting old...). But I am concerned I will not be able to lower the car very much with theese coilovers. Anybody got pics where the car is lowered to maximum (within spec)?
Thanks! Last edited by 325d; 01-17-2012 at 04:28 PM.. |

The KW Street Comforts are comparable to the KW V2 in the sense that you will be able to adjust the height and rebound compression settings. The KW street comforts are more comfortable for daily driving and they do also feature linear springs (KW V1, V2, V3 are progressive).
KW V2 drop rate Front - 30mm-60mm Rear - 25mm -55mm KW Street Comfort drop rate Front - 15mm-35mm Rear - 10mm-30mm |

Thank you for your answer.
How do you measure how much the car is dropped? Do you meassure from the center of the wheel to the wheel arch? If so, what are the data for kw street comforts front and rear? Thanks! |

What does the kw manual say about adjusting the ride hight after installing the street comfort kit?
Does it say what the spec is for minimum / maximum ride hight, and where to measure? Thanks again! |

Some of us with KW Street Comfort coils actually raised their cars. My rear is a few milimeters higher than stock

Do you have the manual that came with the kit? Is it possible for you to check what it says about adjusting the hight and where to measure? |

Raising the rear a bit prevents rubbing with a 10" rear and 275's. When you are 40 years old you don't mind the "it needs to be moar low" comments (I get those all the time when I post pics)
