What's your favorite BMS map?
I like #2 the best. I find it gets rid of the throttle lag and is easier than #3 for me to drive the car smoothly. What's your favorite?

I like three. At first it was completely different, but now i'm all used to it and can gauge the right amount of pressure.

Now: Map 0
When it was my main software mod; I used map 3 a lot, but got major stuttering. Map 2 was a little bit smoother.

Mine is actually map 6! I leave it on 3 most of the time tho. 6 feels waaay different than 3. Feels more natural and smooth.

Map 2 then went to map 5 today, I think it will run less rich. Will update later. Map 3 to me was just a little too responsive. This over all is definetly and improvement over stock IMHO.

I got mine for christmas and have been running on map 3, I LOVE this mod. I kind of disliked my car because of the initial lag when hitting the throttle and the delayed downshifts but this changes everything.

Thanks to all of you for your comments and poll votes! Wow map 3 is the overwhelming favorite. I was a map 2 guy and because of the poll have given map 3 more of a try and have become more used to the throttle sensitivity. Have lately been experimenting with 5 and 6 to keep the nice driveability but perhaps improve mileage a little. Haven't really noticed any mileage differences between having the tune on or off. This is probably a good thing.
In the course of my recent experimenting went back to map 0 - man that stock throttle map is really bad, forgot how difficult this car was to drive with out the BMS. |
