Bought a used 335xi off of a private seller that did not come with an owners manual. Find out a replacement via ebay was in the $40-50+ range. Did some more searching and found that you could download the PDF of your owners manual from BMW themself on BMWUSA.com under then Owners menu uptop.

At first I printed out the owners manual and punched holes and put it in a 3 ring binder to keep in the garage but wanted one to keep in the car, but was too cheap to buy one on ebay. Then it occurred to me to have an office supply/copy place cut it and bind it for me. So I printed it out 2 sided on standard 8.5x11 paper in black and white, and printed the first page only in color, then went to Staples and had them cut and bind it. They charged me $8 to cut it and $3.95 to bind it. I thought about cutting it myself, but couldn't get my hands on a paper cutter. Glad I didn't though, because it really looked professionally done with their cutter, IMO. They cut the whole stack at once.

If you cut it yourself, you can get it done for around $4, if you have them cut it, approx. $12.

Thanks. Some folks must have the OEM manual, but I could care less and am more interested in the content. Not to mention spiral binding is much easier to keep your page when you trying to read and do stuff like program the garage door openers, etc.

Another option for those with smartphones is to keep the PDF manual on their phone.

That's what I do! Works great and I always have it.
