Er fmic

Anyone running this intercooler I got it installed last week and they told me the fitmet was horrible had to cut like and inch of piping

Mine fit perfectly. I've only had and heard good things with ER products.

No complaints. It does require trimming but certainly not cutting of piping. Perhaps they did not put the silicon couplers high enough in the pipe to allow for proper adjustment. It is a snug fit.

The pipe fits very snugly against the coolant pump (I beleive thats the pump). Sometimes that pump could be on an odd angle and the intercooler pipe coupler could rub, just simply loosen the bolts to the pump and move it over a few mm.

I've sold a few of these and all perfect fit on both N54 and N55? I haven't seen these installs personally but I always here if there are issues

I've had my n55 ER intercooler since July and it fits great. There was trimming but it fit perfect.
