Tried emailing vishnu but its the weekend and I understand they might not get back to me till a working day.

Thought some of you might have suggestions.

Car is a 2011 335xi, 6 speed manual, just had DME update at the dealer on Thursday.

I installed a 2.5 board I got new from a fellow member. Came loaded with 7-5 maps/firmware. After installing the procede and before starting the car, I uploaded the new 11-08 maps/firmware.

Immediately after start up I get the half engine light with "engine malfunction-reduced power" message.

Codes are 11352 and 11427.

I've double checked my connections and reloaded everything 3 times following the directions to a t.

I'm out of ideas and would like to be able to drive my car tomorrow, so any help is greatly appreciated.

Car wouldn't start if it's the wrong board/map updates... Did you reset all adaptions before you started the car?

I assume because the label on one of the bags says "Rev 2.5 N55 7-5 MAP Pro. V"

Yes, I reset 12-1 through the command center all three times I tried reloading the firmware and map. Even re-downloaded it.

Yeah sounds like either a problem with the unit or the wiring harness. I would take it out and send it to rober@vishnu to be checked out. They usually do it for free. They replaced my harness for free and extended it for me cuz my injen intake pulled one wire out.
