Contractor Recommendations in NOVA (Entry Door Installers)

Hi all,

This is off topic...

I am looking to get an entry door replaced. Sounds simple, but this is for an older house -- so this requires a bit of customization. In addition, I need to have the surround redone (the trim that wraps around the door).

I have talked to a couple of door installers and gotten vastly different estimates for the work. I also looked at Home Depot and Lowe's - but they would only be able to install the entry door and storm door.

Do folks have recommendations for installers? Or provide name of a contractor referral service? (Has anyone used Angie's List?)

dont use HD or Lowe's for that.........seriously.

I work for Andersen windows, so I can highly recommend your local Renewal by Andersen for install work that is done properly and will carry a strong warranty.

it won't be cheap, but it will be done right. God I sound like a salesperson lol.
