Air filter....what do you have/like

As the title says, what do you guys prefer? K&N or afe? If you go with afe, do you prefer the Pro 5 R or Pro Dry S?

I'm looking to replace my filter for a 2007 335i sedan.

So let's hear it....and may the best filter win....

I have the afe dry drop in filter on my N55.

I have had K&N filters on aftermarket intakes on past vehicles. I noticed a difference with the aftermarket intake over the stock one. Not sure if one brand filter can actually make more of a difference.

With the N55 motor, gains aren't that huge with aftermarket intakes, but the motor is still fairly new compared to the N54. There are a few out, but I will probably hold off until BMS comes out with theirs. I am happy with their products and pricing. Not sure what filter they will be using.

I picked up the afe filter to drop in for the hell of it. I didn't notice any gains or better throttle response. Maybe, just maybe, I could say that when I got on it, I could hear more turbo. That could be mental too tho.

Filters are cheap and I think are better quality than the stock one. No brand stands out more than the other in my eyes.

Best of luck!
