I love BMW...but dare I say it....I think the Q5 3.0L TD sh*ts on the X3.
Out of X5 or X6, I would choose X6 too, they aren't so spacious but look better and are less played out than the X5. Sounds like you got a good deal and a hot car |

Glad you picked the diesel, enjoy the monstrous torque from this truck.
We'll be looking to sell our X5 and upgrade to a X6 once the LCI has been released. |

Thanks everyone.
In terms of the X3, had a look at one up close, it is slightly smaller than the X5, not by a lot. The back is very X5 like, the front is different I guess.....lol. To put it nicely...... I didn't look at the price on it, but I can't see why you'd go an X3 instead of an X5, unless the X3 is quite a bit cheaper. |

Hey everyone,
Picked up the 5 seater X6 on Friday. It is an absolute dream of a car and I'm sure my Mum (and myself) will both enjoy it. Looks pretty gangsta! Very happy I opted for the X6 now, looks much better than the x5 in the flesh (IMO of course) and the X5 looks too similar to the new X3. Pics below. Thanks! |

Congrats, looks hot! You could consider all black grilles.

Yes I was thinking that and I've seen another X6 with them in place, looked great.
Will be getting a tint as well. Going for the ALL BLACK look (exterior-wise). |

nice man well done! I am a X6 fan over the other x's, that's my personal preference.
Just looked at a x6M on carsales. 0-100 in 4.7 give that a tune and look out M3's!

That car looks freaking GANGSTA. My dad rolls in a black X6 as well and it's a great car. Uses barely any fuel with the diesel.
Regarding X6 LCI, there isn't one. They've upgraded the engine to the 40d, put in the 8 speed auto and that's it. Looks exactly the same from the outside = helps resale.

The 8spd and the 40d are quite significant changes. No LED angels or fat rear LEDs though.
