All Europe DVD for your Navigation
Hi everyone. July is finally the month for my 335 ED. I was wondering if anyone who went on ED still has the Professional All Europe DVD for the navigation system. If you do and would like to trade please let me know. If not can you please share where to get it and avoid paying the full price.

Hmmm, just bought the latest disk for my June ED! Bummer, my dealer gives one free.
My dealer actually loans one free to their customers. I just bought the latest one and not sure if I should return it as its $183?? Now I come on here and bimmerfest also has one! Bummer!!! Got 2007.2 All Europe for the 335 professional Nav.

Wow, now that's some service from a dealer. My dealer only does like 4 ED's/year and doesn't like them at that since they don't make much money on them.

Another vote for Beewang's service over on bimmerfest. Cost was reasonable, and the experience was Netflix easy!

Great question as I was wondering how I'm going to get the Europe DVD when I get over there!?! I didn't know if they'd provide it, or if it would be built in, or what? Also if there's a DVD in the Nav, can you still listen to a CD, or will I have to get them to build in the CD changer before hand? Do they install CD changers @ the factory?

The DVD drive for the Nav is completely separate from the CD Drive.
So Yes, you can listen to your CDs and use the Nav. Don't know your answer to the CD changer question.

Note sure what you mean Ian. It all depends on how the car is packaged in your country. In Australia, if you get Navi and the premium sound system, you also get the CD stacker. Either way though, the console has a CD drive and a DVD drive if you get Professional Navigation.
You can listen to CDs from your CD drive(s) AND from your NAV drive. If you remove the NAV disc from your DVD drive, NAV will still work (location only) but you won't get any maps. Quote:

Well, if I were in Australia then you would've answered my question. The only thing I have left to find out is if I can get the factory to install the CD changer/stacker. As it is not an "option" on US cars, it's an "accessory." I was also unsure of the separate CD & DVD drives because I've never seen it in person (in a BMW) and you can't tell from the pictures, nothing is close-up enough. But thank you for trying to answer my questions!
