The Official Vehicle Wrapping Thread
Hey guys, wrapping has been a very popular craft over at Helix for a while and we have done a good number of cars as well as a bunch of roofs. Last one was an e30 and a 1 series that were both wrapped in Matte Dark Grey. My 335i was wrapped in matte black and our shop mini was also wrapped in matte green.

Di-noc is a great material. You can also look at the 3M scotch print 1080 carbon fiber. Its thinner material than the Di-noc so its a little easier to work with. Both have 3+ year durability for outdoor applications. Quote:

Location? I just recently wrapped my e90 lci m tech.. Messed up hood and front bumper on collision. Getting cf hood and replacing bumper . May need to wrap front bumper again. Could you quote me on price? I'll provide my own wrap. And quote me of I don't provide own wrap as well. Color is matte black. Disregard this if you are located outside of SoCal! Thanks sorry posting on mobile can't see location

To be honest I probably won't remember as Ill be planning so many things. You can get a bunch of samples from 3M directly. We got them for free, I think they might be like 5$ for people who don't have accounts.

Major props for Helix and their wrapping services. I have been to their shop many times - their 135 and Alex's former 335 are FLAWLESSLY done. They wrap all kinds of cars, not just BMWs.
Friend of mine got his roof wrapped there and it looks OEM. Oh, for fun: ![]()

^^^curious as well, if I can't find an AW 335 I may just go with black and wrap it white. For those that daily there cars in all weather conditions what's the realistic timeline this stuff lasts? I'm wondering mostly when the edges and corners will start to lift.
