Procede 2.0 and Step

So would getting the Procede 2.0 be an a risky decision given the torque limits of the automatic? Seems like with all the hard driving the Steps are holding up well with 1.45 Procede. Anyway, just wondering what everyone else is thinking.

On a side note, is the 2.0 version available to all the older procede customers or is it completely new device?

v2 is the same device with extended harness, new firmware and maps. Existing customers will have to pay for the additional wires when requesting for the upgrade. Vishnu will limit the torque so that there will be no reliability issues. As far as I know, there are no reliability issues at all up to now and you can be sure some users drive the car out of spec's ( bad gasoline, high reving cold engines, clutch dumping, engine oil issues, usage of additives ... )

Is this official ? So the V2 will have additional cables...

Yes Shiv said himself that v2.0 will require additional wires.
