E92 Angel Eye Question - very confused
Hi guys
Dont flame me, but I can't get my head around the whole angel eye kit thing. Let me get this strait, the angel eyes are the led rings around the edge of the bulb? It says on the official bulb code list that they are H8 bulbs. I typed in H8 bulb into google, but can someone explain further on the subject? http://www.google.co.uk/imgres?q=H8+...:429,r:16,s:17 These apparently are H8 and the ones i need? So if i wanted to have a HID kit, could i put a D1S bulb into the low beam as you would install a normal HID kit, and have angel eyes too? |

So I'm correct in thinking the AE kit are 4 led rings that replace the OEM rings? And the D1S xenon bulb low beam/high beam is the HID bulb. Can you have both kits on the car or do they use the same OEM wiring? |

Yes, the D1S is for the xenon on your projector bulb.
You can have both kits. Many people here do.

I would have presumed that the angel eyes are led rings that are brighter than the OEM ones? But a lot of angel eye kits seem to have this type of bulb? How exactly does this led bulb make the angel eye effect? http://www.ppcgb.com/BMW/3-Series-E9...mo1755-ct1762/ |
