I agree with some of the people.
Get it. Install it. YOU tell us how YOU like it. Then, we'll go from there.

Those cheap 1 watt LED's CANNOT compare with anything like a decent CREE LED. Everything from heatsinks to LEDS are far inferior... Now if the item is made in China...I could care less. I'm curious about the equipment itself and the quality of it. Not everything on the BMW is handmade by virgin German women... 90% of the cheap Ebay bullshit is just that...cheap Ebay bullshit. But regarding the topic...it's not an ugly part. |

![]() It's also illegal in the states to have a white light on the back of your car while driving, not sure about Canada (do you guys use fog lights?)

That's a pretty assumptive statement saying that I am going to be crying and the laughing stock of the neighbourhood. I didn't realize that you have a crystal ball.

God Damn this forum is harsh! Just buy the part man...try it out and see how it looks. How are you planning on hiding the wire that powers it? |

I think that you just splice the wire to one of the brake light wires in behind the trunk liner. It would be hidden there. I am not 100% sure but that's what common sense tells me.

I meant...how are you going to run the wire without it being an eyesore? Drill through the trunk?

I guess you would have too??? I was asking in my first post if anyone one has done this yet. Maybe you could rig it to work with watch battery and forgo the brake turning red feature if someone was uncomfortable drilling into the trunk. But yeah I think that's what you would have to do. I actually hadn't thought about that until now.
