Car delayed:(

My order from Niello BMW here in Sacramento seems to be far behind schedule. Production date was supposed to be June 4, and it hasn't been produced yet. They told me I'd be sitting in it by the end of July, but I don't see that happening if it hasn't shipped out yet, since it takes several weeks (right?) for that to finish. The status of the car on BMW's Owner's Circle site hasn't changed from "On Order" since I ordered the damn thing!

Anyone else dealing with this?

I ordered mine last Thursday 6/21 and according to BMW Owner's Circle it's already built and awaiting transport. I guess its all dependent on your dealer's allocation.

Either call your CA or the 800# and speak to a live person to get the answers to your questions.

did you order in april? i certainly hope you didn't get a glitched production number and your CA didn't do anything about it.

You can go into your dealer and ask your CA to show you a copy of the DAR ( dealer activity report ) and you can see the exact status of your car.All of the cars I have and have had on order,are still being built on time,nothing has been delayed.
