Will these rims fit on a pre-LCI e90 with stock susp?
I have a 2008 328i with standard stock suspension, and as I'm somewhat of a newbie when it comes to wheels and tires, I have a quick question for the experts out there.
I'm looking to grab a set of the OEM ellipsoid style 162 rims for the summer, and I came across a great deal on a set that used to belong to someone with a 5 series. The thing is, all 4 rims are 18x8.5 with an offset of 34mm ... and I would be looking to put on tires big enough to try and minimize the wheel gap created by me not having a lowered suspension, without having the car look too ridiculous as a result. They come with 245/45r18 tires, but are those too big? What about 225/45r18? Does anyone know if these will these fit, or will they rub at all? If they won't fit, what would be the max tire/rim size I could throw on? Should I avoid these and stick to getting the standard 18x8 rims for the front, as is normal on an e90 with these rims? Thanks guys, appreciate any help. |
