Wheel Wax

Well looks like its going to be on with the shiny new summer wheels this weekend.

Thought before I do any recommendations on good wheel wax to protect my new 18" from too much damage.

Just had them redone full sandblast and powder coat so be good to seal them to reduce the break dust sticking

From my experience, i have never found wheel specific sealant any better than the basic.

My two recommendations

I use Rim Wax, it works well and keeps the crap from sticking too hard.

It also smells good enough to eat ;-)

Disclaimer: Obviously don't be eating eat as it will probably kill you...!

I've had excellent results with CG Wheel Guard. Easy to apply, easy to remove. Lasts well - applied to these wheels in October, and they still come up as new with soapy water and a sponge and the absolute minimum effort when washing.

This is what I will be trying next. Good results with their other products.

I just picked up some Poorboys Wheel Sealant to protect my summers that are going on today. Reviews seemed not bad and it was cheap

I didn't get on with PB sealant, but would recommend plant polish, wheel seal and shine.

gtechniq stuff is very very durable. I use the G3 on my windows.
