Just lots of little bits to mess with.. The directions aren't great and I spent lots of time on the wiring especially..

The elbow caused the most issues. To remove the old pipe I had to take the dci's out, unplug the diverter valves and half remove the charge pipe. BMW use a permanent clip here at first I thought I'd have to dremel it off - luckily it can be broken with a screw driver from underneath.

Another annoying little issue was my 1/16" Allen key was not quite 1/16"- argh!!!! My neighbour dropped his around and it worked!

I'll finish it off this morning and let you know how the testing goes...

Pray tell............

I've already got a meth port in my aftermarket charge so fitting the elbow isn't a problem for me. Can't wait till I get my new turbos and clutch so I can get my meth fitted!

Good to have the car running well again. The misfiring issues seem to have been cured by changing the plugs. Spent time warming the car up in map 2 and it feels a little stronger than before. Also love the new wastegate rattle fix, exhaust sounds much better..

Once warm I switched to map 3, pulled away slowly in 1st and nailed it in second from 2,500rpm - cue 2 black strips of rubber through 2nd. 3rd pulls hard but 4th is immense. 4th gear pushes you back in the seat as hard as hard as 3rd usually does without meth... I got caught out with speed as a result thinking I was under 100mph but being at the top of 4th instead - good job I have a private road to hand... 5th and 6th pull much harder too with mega torque - quite addictive.

I'll get down the pod soon and do some logs - hopefully with a passenger!

I notice that the car was boosting 15-16psi under wot. less than I was expecting.

Just read on n54 that I can up the boost on map 3 as I'm running 99Ron . So 2/3psi more = much more power still to come!!

Lesson learned - read twice, do once..
