Ink Spot used to be the bomb, they were in Linden/Elizabeth but think it may have changed names.

What part might narrow the field slightly.

thanks for the info guys, im in northern nj. im thinking maybe getting a chinese dragon symbol tattoo, and do a little touch up on my current ones.

when I got mine done, at Shotsies, it was 170/hr... and it was 2 4hr sessions, but he cut me a deal since i paid him in cash

Cross the bridge and go to Invisible Ink. Everyone there is top notch. Ask for Regino. He's the man and did my sleeve. He has an art degree from the School of Visual Arts, he's not some goon playing with a tattoo gun. It's 30min away from NJ in lower manhattan. IMO the travel is worth it for something that is going to be on your body for quite some time.
