Exclamation Why don't my painted reflectors fit?

Purchased some bimmian painted reflectors for my E90 LCI from jlevisw. Got the oem reflectors off pretty easy and attempted to fit the new painted ones in there. I simply placed it in there to check the fit, but it wasn't a good fit. Seems like the oem have a sharper edge in the corners and the painted ones are more rounded. So when I placed them in there, everything is ok except the very tips which do not fit in. There are simply too round as opposed to a sharper point. I checked the box and it says LCI E90 reflectors. Im confused!

Please help!

pics?

I got a similar product (not sure from what vendor) and all they did was go to BMW get OEM orange reflectors and painted them body color (same thing I would have done if I had the time)

It isn't like they are a different part it is still OEM and shout fit OEM

Yeah that sounds like a better product. This bimmian product seems to be a replica and not the oem painted. I need to call jlevi tomorrow on this.

Had a similar fitment issue Take pictures and send them to seller, they should give you refund/exchange if it is defective.

I knew I wasn't going crazy. I tried several times, but it just isn't the right shape. I will call them tomorrow and find out what they will do. It wasn't a cheap price either!

So who makes the proper fitting painted reflectors for the E90 LCI?

Are the reflectors for the e90 and e92 any different?

Could have had the wrong ones sent?

Yeah made sure the box said the correct info. Definitely for the LCI E90! Just a poor quality product is all. Kudos for the attempt, but nothing will fit like OEM painted reflectors.

In fairness to them, the front grills were a PERFECT fit. You win some you loose some!

Send them a picture of the fitment issue and they'll replace them. Looks like a set for an E92 got into an E90 box..

So, I spoke to Mike at jlevi and he was very nice. I will return the reflectors for a full refund. Will order a set form JBSPEED.
