All I can say is that Cobb's customer service is top notch!

The Cobb AP arrived a couple days earlier and it did not work the first time so I contacted Cobb with my ROM dump. They gave me an updated firmware within 24 hours! And.... it did not work..... so I contacted them again and they send me yet another updated firmware within a day and this time it works!

This is the kind of responsiveness that I am looking for in customer support!

My first piggyback was from AA, don't want to talk about it as it was rough and it throws codes! Then I jumped ship to Vishnu and it was fantastic but the installations and removal is a little troublesome when you have dealer visit like I did with the HPFP recall. That is about the only reason why I order the Cobb AP.

Driving impression: Powerwise, the Cobb is at least as good as my Procede V4 autotune. Since I have only driven it for like 20km and my AT is probably not adapted to the new tune just yet so I cannot comment on the responsiveness and smoothness. But it is not bad at all.

I am really looking forward for the Stage 1 aggressive + FMIC!

Bring it on Cobb! Great Job.

Will definitely report back when I get the new Stage 1 + FMIC, really looking forward to it.

Cobb should know that there are a lot of people like me who do not want to go the DP route for various reasons.

That is what's good about it. They didn't drop me or have me wait for weeks after an easy fix didn't work! Can't say enough.

Lets now wait for next round of maps!

I'm installing my cobb this saturday, can't wait. I love how professional the packaging is and ease of using the website...etc. Hopefully the power and driveablility of the tune are just as good :-)

We fully understand your position. Unfortunately, BMW won't give us all their ROMs and we need to collect them as we go. With the EDM and ADM support going live we're adding ROMs left and right to lower the chance someone will hit an unsupported vehicle.

Stage 1+FMIC will be out next week!

Cheers,
Rob
